Delfitude -Fake Pokemon-

I've had a few ideas (very few) recently about Pokémon ideas. They aren't so easy to design, and a few ideas are kinda meh. But this one seems fairly workable. Keep in mind, it's all very silly to think about.

This underwater creature is notable for many things. It's been noted as very intelligent, perhaps smarter than most humans. It's also known to be a playful, friendly, and graceful creature. It's known to jump from the water several stories high, and with its elongated pectoral flippers it can slowly glide over the sea for a short time. Along with its high jumps, it swims at quick speeds and uses such velocity to attack its enemies.

So, why this kind of animal? It's interesting how certain kinds of creatures have numerous variations in the games (Pigeons, ducks, rodents, sea butterflies), but others have no representation whatsoever. Examples of the latter include koalas, llamas, and dolphins. So I went and tried creating a dolphin one; it didn't seem like a difficult task.

I ended up mixing a dolphin with an airplane with the idea, partly because they seem to do a lot of midair tricks when performing. Thus, it was given long flippers like glider wings, and its dorsal fin bears a design resembling elevated tail wings. The fluke also has a fin protruding from the top.

In terms of coloration, Delfitude has a dark stripe along the middle separating the two primary color tones. This line circles around the eyes to resemble "goggles." Also, there are small marks on the flippers where "ailerons" would be, and even dots along its sides to resemble "windows."

Naturally, Delfitude is going to have a high speed rating and decent attack, but it wouldn't be as good in terms of defense. It would of course be able to Surf; whether it could also learn Fly is debatable, but not beyond possibility. Other moves ideal for Delfitude are:

Aqua Jet
Dive
Iron Head
Mist
Supersonic
Tail Slap
Water Gun
Water Pulse

...among other things.
