Black Jack Wallpaper

A wallpaper featuring Black Jack. I had been meaning to finish this a bit of a while back.

For those who don't know, Black Jack is a fairly unique Leppicorn. Aside from his one-of-a-kind coloration (which is the origin of his "name"), he's also recognizable for his broken antler, strangely missing arm, and the cloth covering his shoulder bearing a cross-checked pattern.

Years ago he realized he was highly sought after by trainers and didn't want to be caught. As a result he honed his skills and became extremely difficult to catch. Battling him guaranteed failure from the start. Back then he became so rough and rowdy, he'd attack anyone he saw even if there was no intention of fighting. His dangerous antics had caused some towns to post wanted ads rewarding for his capture (at the least). He became very proud of his power, to the point of careless arrogance.

Then one day a wild Pokémon came within his view. While it was minding its own business, Black Jack began to strike without mercy. The Pokémon endured with little problem, but became furious at Black Jack and struck back. It's said that this encounter was what changed Black Jack forever.

He had become wiser since that fateful day, and while he's still held some pride in his victories (to the point of marking them as crosses in a tartan-like pattern), he's only engaged those looking for a fight. He also appeared to age quite a bit since, with some instances of "battle scars."

Due to his antler being broken after another encounter with a strong Pokémon he ended up using a broken sword to "replace" it, fastened with strong elastics. The sheath for the broken sword would become handy as a weapon to use in battle, and he would perfect a skill only he knows. Called "Sword Ray," or "Kenshakou" to some, no Pokémon can stand up to the move once it strikes.

The wild Pokémon that Black Jack encountered that fateful day still roams the wilderness, and he hopes to someday find it once again, likely for a rematch. Until then, he fights for his freedom and struggles to survive in the wild.
